About the School

At SpS we believe in creating an education system that uses activity based learning methodologies, debates and discussions that help in increasing student’s awareness and critical thinking. Our curriculum goes beyond textbooks to include learning through inquiry, observation and environment. Our teachers are trained to use creative and innovative methods of teaching. We strongly believe and promote inclusive education and secular values.

We are located at Himmatnagar, a semi-urban place which is the district headquarter of Sabarkantha in North Gujarat. The school is about one kilometer from the national highway no. 8 on Himmatnagar bypass road, about 75 km north of Ahmedabad. This area needed an English medium school that would help children get access to the best of education. We cater to the needs of all children particularly those who come from socially and economically vulnerable sections. Learning English language is difficult for children in this area due to lack of exposure and good quality schools. At SpS we aim to bridge this gap by imparting education in English medium and helping students to be competitive and gain access to the world outside.

Our School was set up in 2006. We have a play group, KG sections and 1st through 11th std adding 12th standard in the year 2014. We follow the NCERT guidelines/syllabus till 8th std. and the Gujarat State Board for High School and Higher Secondary and in future we have plans to approach the CBSE for affiliation.

It is our endeavour to provide the best of education by engaging teachers who are qualified, zealous, committed and open to learning. The team of teachers is led by our Director Shri Arun S Sutaria an IAS (Retd)Officer of long standing and who has gained experience through exposure to the world.

There is an environment of openness amongst the teachers, Principal, parents and the management in sharing ideas and experiences as well as appreciating and valuing each others’ opinions and views.
